How prophetic! I just tried unsuccessfully to email you, and Alice B was mentioned in my message. To express my frequent frustration with mistimed electronic communications and general glitches, I had earlier penned this poetic lament (which recalls Alice's poem, “Christmas comes but once a year”):

    Impersonal communications NOT for me!

Not until you hear my voice
May you infer my values, my intent.

They are not to be known
    Through broadcast internet.

I am to you, what I cannot be
    To anyone else.

For our communication is a whispering of Souls,
Unique and quite ephemeral in time.
